What "status" covers here
A site's status is more than up or down. This check reports whether the homepage responds and how fast, whether the TLS certificate is valid and not close to expiring, whether DNS resolves, whether plain-http traffic redirects to https, and whether the domain registration itself is close to lapsing.
It also checks SPF, DMARC, and MX records — not uptime signals, but part of a site's overall health, since broken mail records mean broken email deliverability even while the site loads fine.
